Do not choose only by cubic yards

The fleet guide lists calculated volumes from supplied dimensions. Those numbers help compare shape and space, but usable capacity can differ. They do not set a safe loading weight or guarantee how much flooring, tile or plaster can be accepted. Confirm the material and weight terms directly.

Understand the published package

The approved 1 ton minimum package is $499 plus $64.87 HST, for a total of $563.87. Seven days, delivery, pickup and fuel are included. Each additional ton is $200 plus $26 HST, or $226 total. Ask how an actual partial-ton overage would be billed rather than assuming a rounding method.

Keep different materials identifiable

List timber, cabinets, flooring and dense debris separately when asking for a bin. Do not mix in chemicals, hazardous materials or cinder blocks. Other heavy waste needs specific approval. If the project changes after booking, get agreement before loading the new material.

Control the load throughout the week

Share the agreed loading instructions with everyone helping. Keep the material below the rim and the access clear. Do not add another load just because there is room at the top. Contact the team when you are uncertain about capacity, weight or collection timing.

A helpful answer

Is the pickup-truck comparison a weight allowance?

No. It is only a rough volume comparison. Packing, vehicle beds and materials vary. Your agreed weight terms still apply.

Continue planning

Compare bin dimensions, check material acceptance and review the HST-included rental package. Call 289-356-0228 to confirm your project.

Local reference: Clarington garbage and recycling guidance. Municipal guidance does not replace the material agreement for your rental.
