Open the boxes before estimating the load
Old storage areas often contain more than furniture and timber. Do not assume sealed tubs, bags or unlabelled containers are ordinary waste. Keep unknown contents separate. Make a keep area for useful tools and equipment so helpers do not accidentally dispose of them.
Keep hazardous contents out
Chemicals, hazardous waste and cinder blocks are not accepted. A partly used fuel container or an unidentified liquid should not be hidden in a general load. Check Clarington and Durham Region guidance for an appropriate disposal route. Ask separately about appliances, electronics and other uncertain items.
Plan the carrying path
A bin can only go in an agreed position that the truck can reach. If the shed is behind a gate or along a narrow path, you still need to carry the approved material to that position. The bin rental does not include a crew emptying the shed or demolishing the structure.
Pick the profile after sorting
The low-profile bin is one option for a smaller load; larger profiles offer different footprints and heights. Measure bulky pieces and review the bin dimensions. The team confirms the actual bin and availability before the rental. Stay below the rim and within the agreed weight terms.
A helpful answer
Is shed demolition part of this rental?
No. This website offers a customer-loaded bin rental. Do not include demolition or loading labour in your plan unless a separate arrangement is confirmed.
